I Really Like The Modular Approach Continued

And this new development from MIT is really cool.

No telling what may be possible, from the world of new modularity, now that we've got so much new instrumentality to work with. Which means, folks, that even ordinary citizens like us could assemble a good deal of what we want, and need, ourselves. That way we can leave a good portion of the basic manufacturing to automated processes that create the different modules.

And that's just one way we could make automation help us, instead of replace us. Assuming, of course, that we, as working Americans, owned it all. Big assumption I know, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible. Just that it's going take a lot of work, and a good deal of sacrifice, to achieve it.
