This parting scene from the movie Serenity never gets old for me. I'm hoping its the same for you:
Just before the climatic final battle scene the main character Mal is told by the preacher that he had to believe. Mal of course mistakes this for believing in God but that wasn't what the preacher meant. "Just believe" is what he tells Mal before he dies, the implication being that it is in something much more fundamental than any one deity. I think its clear here what he settled on for that belief.
