Don't laugh too much though. This is exactly the kind of thing that can cause implosion explosions, of absolutely unknowable characteristics, until after they happen. All part of the increasing chaos to come you see, as Capitalism continues on.
Mind you, though. It continues on only out of long, long built up, social inertia. So even broken as it is, and flinging ever bigger pieces of itself off madly, as they come apart for lack of anything meaningful to hold on to; even then does it have the relativistic mass to go gouging ahead; through the planet, ever wasteful as always; and through any sense of real human need, let alone the things we might aspire to. The truly amazing things we could aspire to if given the chance to prosper, reliably, within a balanced approach to determining priorities, and then deciding on how to best achieve them.
Of course that could just be another kind of crazy. From a crazy old Humanist, Progressive. I'll leave it for you to choose.
REAL NAZIS HATE WHEN YOU SAY THEY'RE FAKE
Conspiracy Theories Are Eating This Alt Right-Friendly Site From The Inside
Gab says it's a "free speech" alternative to Twitter, which makes Nazis love it. Yet the site's leaders say the left is planting fake Nazis to destroy it.

[Post Note: To answer the question posed in the post just below here, from the Atlantic article: no one is responsible because we are all responsible. We cannot all be held responsible of course so you can see this as a Catch-XX, where XX is any number you want it to be, other than 22 of course.
The problem is that we don't yet have a social/economic operating system that allows us to share responsibility as equitably as we also share the fruits of a great deal of new productive capability. And so we get a lot of chaos, most of which is quite tragic.
What is even more tragic, however, is that we just refuse to accept that we all have to stop doing "Business As Usual." Stop going to work. Stop paying the bills. Stop the excessive social medizing. Stop trying so desperately to sell ourselves as some new kind of "Celebrity Brand," that might then give continuing income because the "known" can usually keep their celebrity going easily enough; because whatever it is you do it will be a "known" individual doing it, and that is, unfortunately, what constitutes "consumerist news" these days.
If we don't take at least a week and just everybody stop (accepting the usual suspects concerning critical social services naturally). Stop and start talking to each other, in our living communities, about what is really important now, and what isn't. And most importantly about how what we have now, as a social/economic operating system, just isn't working properly anymore at all. And about how we must then start thinking about a replacement. If we don't do that to at least get their attention then we are well and truly intercoursed as a nation, and a species.
It is, in my opinion. Just that simple. J.V.]
